DIY DISHWASHER TABS - made in minutes!
This morning I have been trying out some new DIY green cleaning recipes for my upcoming Green Cleaning with Essential Oils e-book. I decided to try making dishwasher tabs as I always feel that conventional dishwasher tabs can sometimes leave a slight taste, on glasses in particular. These were so easy to make, and work a treat!
If you would like to have a go at making your own DIY dishwasher tabs, I have posted the details below.

DIY DISHWASHER TABS
Here’s how to make your own natural dishwasher tablets! This DIY recipe contains the cleansing power of doTERRA On Guard® and Grapefruit oils, leaving your dishes clean and smelling fresh. Ingredients 1 cup baking soda ¼ cup citric acid 1 tablespoon doTERRA On Guard Cleaner Concentrate 5 drops Grapefruit oil Instructions
Put the baking soda, citric acid, doTERRA OnGuard Cleaner Concentrate, and Grapefruit oil into a mixing bowl. Mix together until the mixture is an even consistency. You may wish to wear disposable gloves if mixing with the hands.
Place in silicon moulds and let sit for 4 hours. Remove tabs.
Store in an airtight container.
Use in dishwasher in place of store-bought dishwasher tablets.
5. Tip: Adding one cup white vinegar to the rinsing agent compartment in your dishwasher will help ensure that your glassware comes out of the dishwasher sparkling!
